THE WISDOM OF THE EAGLE

THE WISDOM OF THE EAGLE

 Facts about Eagles

An eagle is a large bird of prey with a big hooked beak and long broad wings and it's known for its keen sight and powerful soaring flight

Eagles make their home in the Mountains-They belong to the top

eagle is 3 feet (0.91 m) long and weighs up to 7kgs

Eagles have a wing span of 8 feet (2.44 m). The survival of the eagle depends on their ability to fly. Flight muscles are powerful and in fact make half the total of the body weight. Eagles are born to fly, and an eagle is not an eagle until he flies to the top

Thus as human beings we can derive some lessons from the eagke that can help us propel high in life.If you posses the attitude of the eagle, definately you will change for the better and get to levels where other people cant get easily without having the mindset of an eagle

1. Eagles fly alone at high altitudes

eagles don't fly with sparrow, ravens, or pigeons and other small birds. The eagle only fly with other eagles

Meaning: Stay away from narrow-minded people that bring you down. The people you hang around will eventually determine the person you become, hence keep good company.

2. Eagles have a sharp vision.

Eagles can focus on something as far as 5 km away. No matter the obstacle, the eagle will not move his focus from the prey until he grabs it.

Meaning: Have a vision and remain focused on your life, regardless of the obstacles and challenges you may face. Don't give up, you will eventually succeed.

3. Eagles are fearless

An eagle will never surrender to the size or strength of the prey. It gives a fight to win its prey or regain its territory no matter what.

Meaning:Regardless of what the size of the prey or big your problem is, don't give up. Instead, face it. Successful people are fearless, they face their issues head on.

4. Eagles are determined.

Eagles love storms and get exited when storms come. They use the storm wind to lift themselves higher and give the eagle opportunity to rest the wings, which all other birds hide in the branches and leaves of the trees and nest.

Meaning:Achievers are not afraid of challenges, rather they enjoy them and use them profitably. To rise high in life, sometimes you need to take risks that many other people don't often think of doing.

5. Eagles never eat dead things

Eagles do not scavenge but only feeds from a prey it kills itself

meaning :Do not rely on your past success. Keep tracking down new opportunities. In order to conquer, leave your past where it belongs.

6. Eagles prepare for training

Eagles remove their feathers and soft grass in the nest of their young ones so that they get uncomfortable preparing for flying. Eventuallybthe young eagle flies out of the nest when it becomes too unbearable to stay in the nest.

Meaning: Leave your comfort zone because there is no growth there

7. Eagle possess vitality

When they grow old their feathers become weak and cannot take him as fast and as high as it should be. This makes him weak and could make him die. So, the eagle retires to a place far away in the mountains where he plucks his old feathers, breaks his beaks and claws against the rocks until he is completely bare. This is a bloody and a painful process. After a short period, the beak, feathers, and claws grow new again, and then he comes out flying higher than before!

Meaning :We occasionally need to shed off old habits and things that burden us or add no value to our lives should be let go. This will help us soul search ourselves where we have gone wrong and get back to our paths stronger than before.

CONCLUSION

If we emulate the eagle, we can rise high above others and achieve our goals since we shall remain focused, choose correct associations, prepare for training, walk in determination and lastly be fearless in all our undertaking. Have the attitude and mentality of an eagle.
